In this Brainspotting Advanced Seminar, Brainspotting professionals will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of what limbic countertransference is and to have personal experiences with clearing limbic countertransference. This is a fundraising event for BSP CA, a non-profit organization. Funds go to support training and research.

Description

In this Brainspotting Advanced Seminar, Brainspotting professionals will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of what limbic countertransference is and to have personal experiences with clearing limbic countertransference. We will also focus on enhancing clinical presence. Some key points discussed will include: the difference between empathy and compassion, how this impacts what the therapist's central nervous system holds from  their sessions and how empathy impacts potential for burn out.
